Fiction with LGBT parents?

Can anyone recommend fiction where LGBT characters as parents is fairly central (but it doesn't have to be the most central thing in the story). I'm sure I've come across some but I didn't seem to have much luck when I tried to search for it. I'd prefer novels, but will happily take short story recs as well, and YA recs are totally welcome too.

I haven't read most [any?] of these, so this is less of a rec, and more "here are some lists to check out" (all YA or children's):

The American Library Association's GLBT Roundtable/Social Responsibilties Rountable Rainbow Project blog: unfortunately for you, sorted by age, not subject, but the blurbs are short enough that it would be pretty quick to weed through them.
