Can anyone suggest good inter-racial romances? Not erotica, not fetish fiction--just good, romantic stories where the relationship is between two people of different racial or cultural backgrounds.
Elizabeth Linington's historical romance The Anglophile concerns an Irish man and an English woman, back when that would have been classified as a racial divide.
When you say 'not erotica', do you mean no sex, or just that the book should have a lot more non-sex plot than sex scenes?
Sex scenes aren't really my jive, but I know they tend to crop up a lot in romance. Mostly I just want things where sex isn't the primary point of the story. Plot and emotional connections are way more important to me. :)
