dreams_libraryI'm looking for two things.
One, fantasy with no/very little romance.
Two, stories involving societies having 'pet' demons/etc. for whatever reason. I don't want individuals dealing with demons for individual reasons, I want whole towns or affluent families who keep demons over the generations for the good of their society.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Date: 2009-05-02 05:41 pm (UTC)The Deed of Paksenarion trilogy by Elizabeth Moon. Paks is asexual, so there's no romance in it as a main feature. There may be some among supporting characters, but I don't think there is, it's been a year and I've only read it once, so I'm a little hazy.
