Can anyone recommend fiction where LGBT characters as parents is fairly central (but it doesn't have to be the most central thing in the story). I'm sure I've come across some but I didn't seem to have much luck when I tried to search for it. I'd prefer novels, but will happily take short story recs as well, and YA recs are totally welcome too.

Short story in the collection Athletic Shorts by Chris Crutcher. Our hero is a high-school student; his parents divorced and both are now in lesbian and gay couples. This is prominent background rather than the foreground of the story; the story is centered on Angus, and his parents' orientation is one of several things he's teased about at school. He is on good terms with both his parents.
